Pie Crusts

Filling
Begin heating milk on the stove, do not boil
Mix dry ingredients in a mixing bowl
Mix in egg yolks
Slowly add milk while mixing
Return mixture to stove and simmer
Add butter and mix in
Add vanilla and Kahlua(optional)
Stir occasionally and continuously as mixture begins to solidify
Remove from heat when filling is consistency of pudding
Pour hot filling into cooled pie crusts and level out
Remix meringue to proper consistency
Pour meringue on top of hot pie filling
Use spatula to peak meringue
Place in oven on center rack at 325F for 10-15 min, ensuring meringue does not burn
