Sherline 3 Axis CNC Mill
This page is dedicated to the Sherline Model XXXX. I had a hard time finding information on the internet about bringing this mill up-to-speed and out of DOS with the latest CNC controllers. Fortunately, it can be done with nothing more than an old computer with a parallel port.

Stepper Motors @ 200steps/rev driving a lead screw with pitch of 10rev/in. (2000 steps/in)
Maximum speed 15”/min on X-Y.
Acceleration 15“/min.
Maximum speed on 10”/min Z, 5“/min acceleration.
Must enable sherline 1/2 step mode on Mach 3.
To interface with spindle relay, map pin to port under “Output” signals tab, under Output #1. Make sure Spindle setup is correct.
